How to Become a CozyKin Nanny
Interviews, Background Checks + Hiring
First, you will interview with our Care Recruitment team, who will ask you questions about your past experience and why you want to join our team. If you are selected as a great fit for a CozyKin nanny, we will run a few routine background checks. Once you pass the background checks, we will extend an offer to become a CozyKin nanny and schedule a start date!
Onboarding + Training
For your first day, you will report to CozyKin’s office for CozyKin Academy, which is an intensive two-week orientation all nannies attend. You'll learn best practices for infant and toddler care, and how to incorporate the Montessori method in your daily routine. You also will be trained on infant CPR and First Aid.
Backup Care + Family Placement
As a part of CozyKin Academy, you will have the opportunity to shadow our current nannies. The process will also include providing back-up care for CozyKin families. Finally, you get to meet prospective families for permanent placement!

“I started my career at CozyKin as a nanny. When my family moved on from CozyKin, I got more exposure to working at the CozyKin office. I often asked what I could do to be helpful and eventually, I started to help check in on nannies; I enjoyed that because I got to meet others that I hadn’t met before. I continued to take initiative on what could be done next and was later promoted to a Care Manager and Backup Care Coordinator. In this role, I always want to do what’s best for our nannies and families. I love that CozyKin offers support to our nannies and that I can be a part of that.”
